Our BoardCommNexus is a non-profit organization that is member supported. We rely on the sponsorship of industry companies, along with the participation of individuals from our community, to assist us in helping the San Diego technology community. Our Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from our sponsor companies and industry advisors.

Carolyn Holck is currently Chief Marketing Officer of EvoNexus. Carolyn has more than 25 years of tech/wireless/telecom marketing experience. She previously held both in-house and agency Marcom/PR roles, working with startups, and established and public companies including, but not limited to: Qualcomm, MP3.com, Sun Microsystems, LG Electronics USA, Open Vision Technologies (acquired by Veritas Technologies LLC), the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) (NASDAQ: SCOC), Platinum Software (PSFT; now Epicor Software Corporation), Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD, now Diebold Nixdorf), Arbortext (acquired by PTC) and Qualix Group (acquired by EMC, now Dell EMC). Carolyn was a technology practice supervisor at Grey Communications, Inc./San Francisco (now Grey Group). She founded her own PR/Marcom consulting group intercomm pr in 2003 providing consulting services for clients including: Hughes Electronics/Hughes Network Systems (acquired by EchoStar; announcing the first commercial satellite broadband Wi-Fi system), Synectics USA and Quadnetics Group plc (now Synectics plc), Comspan Communications (launching residential and commercial high speed fiber-optic internet/TV/VOIP service trials and rollouts to underserved rural areas of coastal Oregon), Ledcor Technical Services, LTS Group of Companies, to name a few.
Carolyn received her BA in Government from the University of San Francisco (USF). She attended the University of California, Irvine where she studied Political Science her first two undergraduate years. Carolyn has studied art and design at Otis/Parsons Los Angeles and Academy of Art/at USF.
