Kanwalinder Singh is a technology leader with a highly successful record of building startups to billion dollar businesses in US and International markets. He thrives in customer facing, competitive environments where he can envision and realize market leading positions through innovative business models. A unique blend of business, technical, people, and execution skills, Kanwalinder has built businesses across the mobile ecosystem including services, mobile devices and IoT, and wireless infrastructure. He is Co-founder and Board Member at Atcost.in, a disruptive online grocery venture in India, and Founder and Principal Consultant at Muirlands Horizon LLC, an executive consulting firm. Previously, Kanwalinder was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Qualcomm where he built two new high-margin growth businesses – Automotive and IoT – for Qualcomm’s chipset division. He has eleven years of international experience as President of Qualcomm India and South Asia and Chief Technical Officer of Lucent India. Kanwalinder built Qualcomm’s organization and wireless business for all divisions in one of the rapidly growing and highly competitive regions in the world, and built Lucent’s Wireless Infrastructure presence in India with high-profile pan-India network wins. He started his career as a Systems Engineer at Bell Laboratories, did Ph.D. Coursework in Computer Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication from Punjab Engineering College, and attended the Executive Development program at Wharton School of Business.
