Fmr. CTO HP Printing Group
Mike Salfity is former General Manager and Global Head of the Graphics Solutions Business at Hewlett-Packard Company. Prior to that role Mr. Salfity was Chief Technology Officer of HP’s Printing Group and Vice President of the Enterprise Content Management and Workflow business unit. In this role, he and his team worked across the business to oversee IPG’s long-range technical strategy as well as research and development efforts. As this VP/GM of the Enterprise Content Management and Workflow business he was responsible for the portfolio of office and production products, as well as SMB solutions. Mr. Salfity’s deep knowledge of print technologies and the software business enabled him to contribute significantly to PPS’s SW strategy of driving digital page growth and content management.
Prior to joining HP in September, 2010, Mr. Salfity was President / Managing Director of the Audatex North America and Hollander, companies of Solera Holdings, Inc., global automotive claims software and services provider. As a managing director, he was responsible for the balance sheet of all business lines in the U.S. and Canada.
Earlier, Mr. Salfity spent over 20 years at Xerox corporation where he held a number of technical leadership and general management positions. As the vice president of the Global Software Delivery & Solutions business unit he was responsible for developing and delivering software for Xerox’s entire $17 billion business. Prior to that, he led the Global Workflow Solutions business unit enabling Xerox’s transition from a box-focused company to a software and solutions provider. Mr. Salfity spent the first ten years of his career working in the Xerox corporate research & technology group in various technology, and strategy roles.
He earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
Mr. Salfity served as Chairman of EvoNexus from 2012-2017.
