EvoNexus incubator companies Electrozyme and Rock My World were two of eight companies to win CONNECT’s 2014 Most Innovative New Products Award. Electrozyme won in the Sport and Active Lifestyle Technologies category for its wireless body sensor that monitors the electrolytes in your sweat to determine how well, or poorly, hydrated you are. Rock My World won in the Mobile Apps category for its Rock My Run app that gathers biometric data from your smartphone or fitness wearable device and adjusts your workout music to keep you motivated.
In addition to Electrozyme and Rock My World winning awards Edico Genome was a nominee in the Diagnostics and Research Tools category. Though Edico Genome didn’t win at the CONNECT awards, its DRAGEN Bio-IT Processor was recently recognized as the Top Innovation of 2014 by The Scientist Magazine.
CONNECT’s annual Most Innovative New Products awards began in 1988 to celebrate innovation in the San Diego and honor the groundbreaking new products of the last year. The awards were presented on December 4th, 2014 for the following eight categories:
