Julie Ask is the lead wireless analyst for JupiterResearch where she focuses on consumer, technology, and industry trends across a range of wireless access technologies. Julie started her career in the wireless industry nearly 18 years ago when she joined COMSAT Laboratories as a microwave design engineer. Prior to joining Jupiter, she worked with service providers, equipment manufacturers and media companies on both corporate and product strategies as a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton. Jupiter Research is a syndicated market research firm. Ask holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Tim Long is a managing director and a senior research analyst in the Equity Research Department at Banc of America Securities LLC, where he covers the Wireless Equipment and Data Networking and Wireline Equipment industries and is the Captain of the Technology Team. In 2005 and 2006, Long ranked third on the Institutional Investor “All-America Research Team” for his coverage of the Wireless Equipment companies, and in 2002 and 2003, he was named a “Runner-Up.” In 2002, The Wall Street Journal named him the number-three stock-picker in the Communications Equipment category. In 2003 and 2005, he ranked number three in the Greenwich Associates survey for his coverage of the Wireless Equipment sector.

Seamus McAteer has covered the wireless industry since the early 1990s and has earned a reputation as one of the most respected and credible analysts in the industry. He held director and research fellow positions in several corporations analyzing Internet and communications technology before founding his own wireless and telecommunications advisory services firm. He is frequently sought by the media for expert commentary on wireless, Internet and related technologies. As co-founder, chief product architect and senior analyst at M:Metrics, McAteer determines how services are shaped to match client needs. He is also the company’s primary evangelist.

Clint McClellan is currently the senior director of Market Intelligence for QUALCOMM Incorporated. McClellan’s current responsibilities include overseeing market intelligence, market analysis, and market research. McClellan joined QUALCOMM in December of 1997 as director of strategic marketing. McClellan brings a wealth of wireless industry analysis experience to QUALCOMM. Prior to joining the Company, McClellan most recently served as a senior analyst for Gartner Group/Dataquest’s Telecommunications Group in its personal communications wireless program. Previously, McClellan worked as a marketing specialist at Telephone House Nippo in Kobe, Japan and for CH2M Hill Consulting Engineers in Oakland, California. McClellan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
