Senior Director of Information Security & Risk Management, Qualcomm
Since 2000, Joshua served as the head of global information security and risk management organization. Davis and his team are responsible for overall management, leadership, and accountability of information security and other technology risks across all of the company’s diverse business operations. Davis also contributes to related areas such as product security, physical security, and government solutions.
Davis holds a MS in Information Security Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University and several security and privacy related certifications. As the 2005 and 2006 President of the ISSA San Diego chapter, Davis grew chapter funding by 600% and helped establish a chapter sponsored college scholarship for underprivileged students of information security in San Diego. Davis is also a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and has contributed to several recent publications from CSA and ISACA.

Deputy Director & Chief Information Security Officer, City of San Diego
As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the City of San Diego, Gary advises the City of San Diego’s executive leadership consisting of Mayoral, City Council, and 40+ city departments and agencies on protecting city government information resources. Gary oversees citywide cyber security strategy and the enterprise cyber security program, operations, compliance and risk assessment services. His mission includes creating a “risk aware” culture that places high value on securing city information resources and protecting personal information entrusted to the City of San Diego. Gary is involved in the cybersecurity and technology start-up community in San Diego where he the Co-Chairman for Cybertech, the parent organization that houses the Cyber incubator Cyberhive and the Internet of Things incubator iHive. He also serves on the board of Brier & Thorn International, a cloud based Managed Security Services Company. He is an active member of ISSA, ISACA, OWASP, INFRAGARD, and holds numerous professional certifications including: CISSP, CISA, and CRISC. He holds a BS in Information Systems Management, Masters in Business Administration, and has over 25 years of experience in Information Security, Enterprise Risk Management, and Threat Mitigation.

Senior Director of IT Systems and Infrastructure, National University
Thomas Tuchscher oversees the IT program for National University which has 65 locations and thousands of students. Although responsible for applications and infrastructure that serve the university, Tom also is a thought leader in security, BYOD, and “Big Data” analytics. Thomas recently served on the SDUSD i2L committee that oversaw the creation of sport digital age learning environments and, in the future, interactive classrooms for the San Diego Unified School District.

Kevin Johnson is responsible for the strategic and day to day management of Fortitude Technology. Our customers sales volumes range from $0 to multiple billions. Kevin has guided Fortitude’s growth from a disaster recovery company to a cloud delivery company for a diverse and fast moving customer base. Kevin is also a key executive in a startup cloud based B2B data transaction processing company servicing trading partners across the globe.
