Fitness and Health Goes Mobile
July 23, 2013
The Mobile Entertainment SIG Presents…
PANELISTS:
Camille Saltman
President, MD Revolution
Camille is a digital health and software entrepreneur, advisor to start-ups and angel investor in the clean technology space. As full time President of MD Revolution, Camille provides strategic direction and oversight of all MD Revolution business development and operational activity and helps formulate and drive key business strategies across all areas of the business. Camille is breaking new ground in digital health leading the launch of MD Revolution’s software platform RevUp to the corporate and health care markets. RevUp is the first software system to deliver affordable, personal and trackable health and fitness coaching to employee groups and health systems. It is the first web-based software platform to aggregate mobile tracking tools, genetic and metabolic assessments and personalized coaching and create a personalized diet and exercise regime for each individual based on health status and goals. RevUp allows employees to track their progress and receive personalized feedback and coaching. Employers can track engagement and eligibility for Affordable Care Act incentives and discounts for medical benefits. Physician practices can track patient progress and provide updates and guidance rather than waiting for the next patient visit. The system is affordable and scalable thanks to proprietary algorithms that the MD Revolution team have developed in a clinical lab with actual patients. Over 90% of MD Revolution’s patients have experience statistically significant improvements in resting metabolism, body fat, visceral fat reduction, and improvements in cardiorespiratory fitness. These indicators have been proven in the latest scientific research to be the real drivers of chronic disease which has now reached epidemic proportions in the United States. Camille has extensive speaking experience including the Clinton Global Initiative America, the State Science and Technology Institute, the International Commercialization Summit, the CONNECT Southern California Innovation Conference and the BIOCOM Strategic Partnering Conference. She is a catalyst for economic development and was previously President and a Board Member of CONNECT for six years. She co-founded the Wireless Life Sciences Alliance, CleanTECH San Diego, San Diego Sport Innovators, the CommNexus SIG program and the CONNECT Look Near First Manufacturing in America and STEM programs.
