Internet of Things
November 7, 2013
“The Internet of Things became a buzzword that describes way too many things and leaves many people confused. But at the same time it points to an upcoming technology revolution as the Internet connectivity extends to physical things, plants, clothes and human bodies. The impact on businesses and human lives is going to be no less than that of the Internet itself 20 years ago. Daniel Obodovski, who recently published a book on this topic will talk about deconstructing the Internet of Things: technology, biggest opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors and, most importantly, will share some success stories in this space – about startups that made it big.”
Background on Daniel Obodovski
With nearly 20 years of experience in the wireless and high-tech sectors, Daniel Obodovski’s passion is helping companies go to market with connected devices and machine-to-machine (M2M) technologies. He has worked with some of the top people in the industry to realize the vision of the Internet of Things. Most recently, Daniel was Director of Business Development at Qualcomm, where he led the commercial launch of multiple M2M products and businesses.
