Migrating to the Cloud:
Public Company CIOs Reveal the Facts

CommNexus invites you to attend a highly relevant, informative, and entertaining Headliner session on “Migrating to the Cloud: Public Company CIOs Reveal the Facts” featuring panelists from Qualcomm, SDG&E, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals and moderated by Dr. Timothy Chou, a nationally renowned authority on cloud computing.

Dr. Chou is an engaging, award-winner speaker and moderator whose ability to bring “the cloud” down to earth is unsurpassed. He is the former president of Oracle On Demand and currently a lecturer on cloud computing at Stanford University. He is the author of several books including: “Cloud: Seven Clear Business Models” and “Introduction to Cloud Computing (In about 1,000 words).”

This is a must-see event! Regardless of company industry or size, senior executives are frantically trying to separate cloud fact from cloud fiction. Motivated by the need to focus, simplify, increase flexibility, reduce costs, and move faster, many have already migrated into the cloud. Others, however, are holding back — deterred by concerns about security, compliance, control, and legacy applications.

Should you proceed, or is it wiser to wait? Let’s clear the air and poke the cloud bear. This Headliner session offers an ideal opportunity to gain a “real world” understanding of what it takes to incorporate cloud services into the mix of enterprise IT services. We’ll see you there — don’t miss it!
