Chief Operating Officer, Gimbal

Kevin Hunter is Chief Operating Officer of Gimbal where he is responsible for guiding Gimbal’s strategy and product vision, while overseeing day to day operations and building a world class team. As a member of the founding team of Gimbal, Kevin is recognized as a visionary in the mobile data industry and for establishing Gimbal as the leading mobile engagement platform. Prior to Gimbal’s carve-out, Kevin led product management for the Gimbal platform from its beginning within Qualcomm Labs into the Qualcomm Retail Solutions division. Kevin brings more than 15 years of experience in mobile having developed and commercialized some of the very first data services and mobile websites while at Sprint. During his six years there, Kevin was responsible for device development and realization and pioneered mobile television as the principal product engineer for the Emmy Award winning Sprint TV. Before Sprint, Kevin founded a technology and consulting business, was a software engineer in the financial services industry and a research assistant at the University of Kansas. Kevin did his undergraduate in computer science at the University of Kansas and is the co-inventor on 17 U.S. patents. He continues to evolve the way in which end users and businesses leverage mobile technology.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, eMbience

Nimish is the Founder, and Chief Technology Officer, and has spent more than a decade developing applications in the mobile and wireless sector. Nimish has spent most of his 17+ years in the software industry leading teams and companies that focus on cutting-edge technologies, including more than a decade developing applications in the mobile and wireless sector. He connects eMbience with leading content providers and business partners, while also spearheading the development and publishing of proprietary applications. Nimish has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh and has in the past successfully built and sold software development company in India.

Jonathan Friedman

Chief Executive Officer, Footprints Mobile Data

Jonathan Friedman is the CEO of Footprints Mobile Data, the leader in location-awareness technology for field reps.  In 2013, the first Gimbal-enabled app on the Apple App Store was made available by Footprints, and Jonathan presented Footprints’ unique use case with the original Gimbal engineers and product managers on the Qualcomm campus.  With 20 years of experience in technology and sales, Jonathan has led Footprints as it has grown user traction, increased corporate subscription revenue, and successfully closed multiple rounds of funding.  Jonathan was President of a local medical device contract manufacturer, a top sales rep for Boston Scientific, and he started his career in technology as a manager at Accenture.  Jonathan has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern, and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University.

Neeraj Bhavani

Chief Executive Officer, Tagnos

Neeraj founded Tagnos and oversees the strategic vision for the company. He has over 20 years of experience in healthcare informatics and location technology. He is a recognized expert in wireless healthcare and workflow automation and holds patents for several inventions. Neeraj has served as Sponsorship Chair on the board of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Southern California Chapter and is the current Co-Chair for CommNexus (formerly San Diego Telecom Council) Location-Based Services and Machine2Machine (M2M) group. Prior to founding Tagnos, he served in management consulting and IT leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, IBM, Amgen, Blue Shield and THQ Wireless. Neeraj earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani (India) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
