Nokia, Microsoft & Qualcomm:
Building a Winning Ecosystem

Ideas. Energy. Excitement. Opportunity. The mobile industry has completely changed the way people communicate, and Nokia has contributed its fair share of innovation to this evolution.  Nokia believes technology can help make us more human, so it is focused on connecting people with great mobile products that sense the world. This first ever CommNexus-Nokia Headliner will focus on Nokia’s partnership with Microsoft and Qualcomm and the impact of this strategic relationship on the mobile industry.

The partnership allies three global businesses with complementary assets and competencies to build a winning ecosystem on the Windows Phone platform. The ongoing collaboration has produced an exceptional level of integration between hardware, software and services on the Windows Phone platform. This gives consumers innovative mobile experiences to help them communicate and to see and experience the world around them in new ways.

The Nokia-Microsoft partnership is in its third year, and Qualcomm has powered every Nokia Windows Phone to date, from the first Nokia Lumias announced in 2011 to the most recent devices launched last month. Jo Harlow, Nokia EVP and head of the Smart Devices Business Unit, will share Nokia’s vision for mobile devices in the Windows Phone ecosystem, including their progress and expectations for the future. Following her address, an executive panel will discuss the topic further and will field questions from the audience. Panelists include David Bryant, VP, Nokia Advanced Engineering; Bryan Biniak, VP  and general manager, Nokia Global Partner & Application Development; Qualcomm’s Tim McDonough, VP, Marketing; and moderated by Heikki Norta, VP and general manager, Nokia Connected Devices.

Prior to the main event, join us in the lobby for product demonstrations hosted by Nokia and Qualcomm.
