September 19, 2012

The Security  and IP SIGs present…

In case you missed it, there is an assault going on against the digital assets of your company—right now.  The strategies that businesses previously used to mitigate risk are no longer valid, and ‘I didn’t think about that’ is no longer an excuse when bad things happen.  As technology trends like cloud computing and BYOD continue to evolve, business leaders must be aware of the new threats they pose to the security of their data, and ultimately, the survival of their company. In an effort to better protect themselves from potential liability, businesses need to understand and evaluate the risk they take on when leveraging these new technologies. It’s the responsibility of business owners and executive management to protect their organization through changing times.  Failing to follow through on this responsibility leaves them open to consequences that could significantly impact their business.

This event will feature the perspectives of business experts in the field, who will provide insight into:

  • Strategies to limit liability and mitigate risk
  • Approaches for legal, process, and compliance requirements
  • Understanding and addressing security concerns related to cloud computing and other technologies
  • Real world experiences at both large and small organizations

Join us and learn firsthand what you can do to combat the ongoing assault on corporate information.
