Gilles Delfassy leads Texas Instruments’ Wireless Terminals Business Unit. In this position, he helped build the business from a start-up project in the early 1990s into a multi-billion dollar success that now accounts for one-third of the company’s annual revenue today. TI holds the number one position in wireless semiconductor market share.
Delfassy took the helm of TI’s wireless business in 1994. During his tenure, he has fostered relationships with top wireless manufacturers across the world, and provided strategic direction for TI’s wireless terminals business, resulting in TI’s leadership in the wireless marketplace. Through his guidance, TI delivers a broad range of complete semiconductor and software solutions to meet the requirements of handset manufacturers, mobile operators and application software developers. To date, six of the top seven 3G handset manufacturers worldwide use TI modems, accounting for about half of all 3G WCDMA handsets on the market, and even more 3G handsets use OMAP™ applications processors

Richard Kerslake manages road map development, product design and customer support for TI’s 3G and OMAP processors business. Kerslake focuses daily on the latest trends for the rapidly growing wireless market – a focus seen with TI’s OMAP platform that holds an estimated two-thirds of the market for wireless application processors. For more than 22 years at TI, Kerslake has worked within new markets as they have developed, including the establishment of TI’s system level integration ASIC business.
Lehman Brothers, Managing Director and Global Sector Head of Technology Research
Tim Luke joined Lehman Brothers in 1992 and is the Global Sector Head coordinating research initiatives by Lehman Brothers Technology Research teams. He is currently a managing director and senior research analyst following the semiconductor and global wireless equipment sectors. Tim achieved First Team status in the Wireless Equipment category in Institutional Investor magazine’s “All-America Research Team” survey in 2000-06 and in the Data Networking & Wireline category in 2004-05. Tim also has been voted No. 1 by other research polls, such as the Greenwich Associates survey, and he is frequently referenced in publications such as The Wall Street Journal. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Tim worked on the regulation of telecommunications and other service industries for the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. Tim attended Eton College and the University of East Anglia, where he studied European history, politics, and economics.

Prior to joining SKY, Naser was Managing Director at Enterprise Partners Venture Capital, where he managed a portfolio of companies in the communications industry – including Ascentant Systems, DragonWave, Inc., Quorum Systems, and ReliOn, Inc. He also served on the boards of GoBeam, WIDCOMM, and Gigabit Optics while at Enterprise. Before joining Entyerprise, Naser was Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Nortel’s optical networks business. At Nortel, he was also instrumental in buidling the company’s Broadband Networks Professional Services team.
After earning a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Naser beagn his career at Bell-Northern Research. There he helped develop the first large scale object-oriented program for outside plant planning technology. This technology has been successfully deployed by several large carriers.
