(Union Tribune, June 18, 2015)–At-home monitoring technology is poised to invade health care, with the goal of lowering cost and taking better care of patients outside of the hospital.
But for these remote sensors and wireless bio-monitoring gadgets to truly gain a foothold, they must be designed so that non-tech savvy patients want to use them. And they can’t be cumbersome for caregivers and doctors.
That was a key theme of The Internet of Medical Things presentation Tuesday put on by EvoNexus, a technology industry incubator and trade group.
