SAN DIEGO STARTUP “WRAPIFY” LETS DRIVERS EARN CASH WHILE COMMUTING

(San Diego 6, June 8, 2015) – A San Diego startup wants to turn your daily commute into cash.

Drivers who sign up with Wrapify will soon be able to earn an average of more than $100 per week by wrapping their vehicle in advertising, the company said Monday.

The tech startup will officially launch July 14, said CEO James Heller. Several brands and more than 650 drivers have already signed up during the soft launch period, he said.

Wrapify uses cell phone technology to track a driver’s mileage and other data and pays them per mile. An average commuter driving 25 miles per day in San Diego can earn between $400 and $600 per month, the company said.
