The Uber for Trucks, GoShare, Launches New Android App for Customers!

San Diego, October 11, 2016: Often referred to as “The Uber for Trucks”, GoShare announced this week that they have now released their Android app for customers in the Google Play Store. GoShare launched 18 months ago in San Diego, CA with an iPhone app and a website for customers. The Android app will allow GoShare to offer on demand delivery, hauling and moving services to a new segment of customers.

GoShare utilizes the sharing economy to match people and businesses who need items moved, delivered or hauled with people who have trucks or cargo vans. In addition, drivers also provide a full white glove service, helping with loading, unloading and installation of the items. The new Android app gives customers the ability to select the type of vehicle that they need (small truck, large truck or cargo van). A price estimate is given before the customer orders. If it’s a small delivery you can save money by choosing one GoShare driver. For heavier items they can send two strong movers to get the job done. The app also allows customer to track the status of their delivery with real time push notifications and communicate directly with the driver.

“GoShare’s mission is to empower people to help others by sharing their trucks and vans”, says GoShare founder and CEO Shaun Savage. “By providing easy to use technology, friendly customer support and a vast network of drivers we make it convenient and cost effective to move large items when our customers need it.” GoShare has created hundreds of jobs for drivers and partnered with companies like Goodwill to help people to donate their larger items to charity.

The service is currently available in San Diego, Los Angeles, and New Jersey and the company has plans to expand to most major cities. You can learn more about GoShare at www.goshare.com or download their Android or iPhone app.
