(Irvine, CA) – TinyKicks won $75,000 in the second Scorpion Pit early-stage funding competition sponsored by BioAccel and powered by the Arizona Board of Regents. TinyKicks is developing a wearable health-monitoring smart sensor that captures fetal movement and uses machine learning to predict and guide healthy pregnancy outcomes, based on Dr. Michelle Khine’s research at UCI, who is also the company’s founder.
