Every six months I get an invitation from the folks at EvoNexus to head up to the Rady School of Management at UCSD for their demo day. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite startup events to attend in San Diego for a number of reasons.
Chief among those reasons is that CEO Rory Moore and his beyond dedicated team always know how to set the perfect ambiance. EvoNexus Demo Day events strike a fine balance between business and play: even though there’s a cohort of big name companies, investors, and key influencers in the crowd, the quintessential SoCal vibe is ever present. I know for a fact that it’s a reason a lot of other people love attending the event as well.
Last night EvoNexus was proud to showcase their group of 10 startup founders who have completed an initial four month stay at the incubator and met the rigorous challenges set before them. These companies have focused their efforts on creating a minimum sellable product, validating their market, and providing a business model to potential customers.
