EvoNexus Irvine Committee
Former President & CEO, Teridian Semiconductor Corporation
Jerry Fitch led the spinout of Teridian Semiconductor Corp. from TDK in 2005 in conjunction with private equity firm Golden Gate Capital.
Teridian Semiconductor Corporation (TSC) is a brand of mixed-signal ICs, primarily for energy-management markets, manufactured by Silergy Corporation, formerly owned by Maxim Integrated Products.
As President & CEO, Jerry successfully transitioned the turnaround of the company, eliminating non-core product lines and business development activities and focused the business on a variety of smart grid related system on chip semiconductor solutions.
Teridian was sold to Maxim Integrated Products in May 2010 for $315m in cash, which represented a 14x multiple in total invested capital from when the business was acquired in April 2005. Prior to joining Teridian and its predecessor Company TDK Semiconductor Corp in August 2000, Jerry was the Chief Financial Officer of Airport Group Inc. an international services company, whose primary investors included The Soros Quantum Fund, GE Capital, and Lockheed Martin. AGI was sold to publicly traded UK based BAA in 1999. Jerry graduated from the University of Southern California with an undergraduate degree in Business in 1981.
Jerry is also an active Orange County angel investor with extensive sem9conductor industry experience.
