Joe Marchica

Currently semi-retired, Joe Marchica enjoyed a distinguished career as a senior executive in both Fortune 500 companies, as well as a privately held family office investment comapny. He is particularly well versed in driving global businesses; developing growth strategies; managing mergers and acquisitions; and leading organizations through change. He has a proven track record in both operational and financial roles, leading businesses as a CEO, General Manager and Financial Executive in durable and non-durable consumer products and services, both globally and domestically.

Most recently Mr. Marchica served as Executive Vice President of the Meruelo Group, a privately held investment holding comapny operating wholly owned businesses with revenues in excess of $1 billion. During his tenure he served as the CEO of Fuji Food Products, a Meruelo portfolio company, where he grew revenues from $40M to $100M. Prior to his CEO role, Mr. Marchica developed and drove both portfolio and investment growth strategies for the Meruelo Group as head of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Prior to joining the Meruelo Group, Joe spent 9 years in various executive roles at The Walt Disney Company. Those roles included Vice President-Controller of the Disney Consumer Products Division, Vice President and CFO of the Disney Global Apparel Licensing business and Senior Vice President, General Manager of the Disney Global Home Décor and Infant Licensing business.

Mr. Marchica started his career with Price Waterhouse and also spent 7 years with PepsiCo’s Taco Bell division in various accounting and finance roles.

Currently Mr. Marchica serves on the Boards of Directors of Biomarker Labs, an early stage digital health company; and BeeKee Corp., an early stage real estate processing and collaberation company, that he co-founded with 4 other partners.

Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce – Accounting from Santa Clara University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status).
