Meenu Natarajan


Defined Contribution Leader, West Market, Mercer

Ms. Natarajan is based in San Francisco, CA where she serves as the Defined Contribution Leader, West Market of Mercer. She was previously the Director of Retirement Investments, at HP, where she oversaw the investments of HP’s assets in the Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans of ~$21B in diverse asset classes including public equity, fixed income, private equity, real estate and hedge funds.

Prior to joining HP, Meenu was responsible for the strategy, governance, execution and communication of the company-sponsored Defined Contribution plans in the Americas for Franklin Templeton Investments.

Meenu began her career in financial services and has spent over 15 years constructing comprehensive financial and investment plans for individuals, corporate and institutional clients. She serves on the Retirement Research Centre Steering Committee for Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and is a Frequent Speaker and Advisory Member at DCIIA, Pension and Investments (P&I), Institutional Investor Forum (IIF) conferences.

Ms. Natarajan achieved her undergraduate degree in Information Technology and Economics from York University in Toronto, Canada and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She also holds the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation.
