Mike Twyman is former President of Cubic Mission Solutions where he led the acquisition, integration, and growth of multiple companies into a Dual-use technology portfolio to target Defense IoT, communications, space, 5G, digital intelligence, autonomous systems, and adjacent commercial markets. Mr. Twyman’s customer experience includes the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), DoD services & research laboratories, intelligence community, aerospace prime contractors, and commercial 5G/New Space companies. Prior to this role, Mr. Twyman led Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Division (> $2B annual sales) providing Tier 1 C4ISR solutions for Joint & Service unique Command & Control systems, airborne networking, and manned/unmanned platforms.
Mike was selected to the 2020 Wash100 list of most influential leaders in the GovCon public and private sector (https://www.wash100.com/). He is currently Chairman of the Executive Leadership group for Executive Mosaic, a professional GovCon networking organization. Mike was honored by the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering and the Rady School of Management as a Fellow of the Architecture-based System Engineering program for contributing to program success as an industry advisor. He was recognized in the highly-praised “The Five Coaching Conversations” as a Best Coach. Previously he served on the board of EvoNexus Southern California’s leading technology incubator program, and on the board for the Washington D.C. United Services Organization (USO). He holds a B.A. degree in Applied Mathematics from California State University at Long Beach, and an MBA from George Mason University, where he was selected as the outstanding class graduate in 2005.
