IoT

Purpose:
The IoT (Internet of Things) SIG will focus on the rapidly expanding category of wirelessly connected devices and machines, which fall outside of the mainstream wireless offering of mobile phones and tablet devices. Widespread societal and financial impacts amounting to many trillions of dollars are expected by connecting the virtual world with both, the variety devices from our personal lives, and the “smart” machines controlling our transportation, homes, buildings, and cities. The IoT SIG will address a broad range of topics on the Internet of Things: new business models, implementation complexity issues, market opportunities and emerging implementations, and visions to the future. This SIG aims to connect IoT leaders and innovators with developers, entrepreneurs, and investors.
