EvoNexus Graduate in Residence
Devanshi Tomar’s work draws from clinical experience, policy analysis and a fondness for stories. During her time as an undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara, she led medical outreach teams serving more than 1,000 unhoused patients in Santa Barbara and coordinated their care through Doctors Without Walls. She also co-founded a statewide taskforce advancing reproductive healthcare access under California’s Senate Bill 24, analyzing how policy, infrastructure, and culture shape the rollout of health policy.
She has presented work nationally and internationally on topics including community health access, reproductive justice and the design of equitable medical systems at institutions such as USC Keck, UCSF, UCLA, Cambridge, and the International Street Medicine Symposium.
As a Graduate in Residence at EvoNexus, Devanshi supports the selection and onboarding of early-stage startups. Her work involves assessing venture concepts, reviewing pitches, and developing evaluation frameworks that center both health outcomes and technical viability. She is particularly focused on digital health innovation, public health informatics, and the broader ethics of durable and equitable innovation.
