Badri Raghavan, PhD

Badri Raghavan, PhD, advises early-stage healthcare AI and medtech founders, private-equity-backed companies, and healthcare enterprises on AI strategy, product, and governance through his firm, Badri AI Advisory. He is also a Contributing Analyst at GAI Insights, assessing enterprise AI readiness for top-tier PE and VC clients.

Before founding the firm, Badri was Vice President and Global Head of Data Science, AI and ML at Resmed (NYSE: RMD), where he built the company’s global AI organization from scratch and brought to market FDA-cleared software as a medical device, generative AI health products, and connected-care platforms reaching more than 20 million users worldwide.

Earlier, Badri was founding CTO and Chief Data Scientist of FirstFuel, a venture-backed energy-analytics startup (acquired by Uplight), where he built the analytics architecture from inception and helped raise $46M. He was SVP, Engineering and Product at Enolink, a healthcare AI venture developing diabetes risk-prediction models, and the top AI executive at Ola, running real-time pricing, matching, and demand forecasting across more than 100 cities. His career began at pioneering San Diego based startup HNC Software (acquired by FICO), building neural-network fraud models decades before deep learning went mainstream.

Badri holds a PhD in theoretical physics (quantum chaos) from Northeastern University, an MS from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BSc (Hons) in physics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
