One of the most talked-about displays at CES 2026 came from an EvoNexus portfolio company. In Las Vegas this January, Brelyon unveiled the Ultra Reality™ Mini — a headset-free immersive display that folds the experience of a 55-inch screen into a 16-inch aperture, complete with a set of “acoustic wings” that quiet the room without headphones.
The Ultra Reality Mini renders a virtual 55-inch image at one meter of optical depth behind its compact aperture, producing an expansive 86-degree field of view in a cinematic 16:9 format — no headset, no calibration, no room-scale setup required. Its optional acoustic wings use metamaterials and structural barriers to create an average -12 decibel “acoustic dark spot,” so you get a personal immersive bubble of both picture and sound right at your desk. “We’re pushing the boundaries of the display industry, marrying headset-like immersion with monitor-like comfort and fidelity,” said Brelyon CEO Barmak Heshmat.
