Bob Genthert is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience spanning Fortune 50 leadership and venture-backed innovation. He has held senior roles including CFO and SVP at Time Warner and The Walt Disney Company, where he oversaw the $5.5 billion home entertainment division and played a pivotal role in launching internal ventures such as Disney Publishing Group, ESPN Magazine, MovieLink, and the Matrix Massively Multiplayer Online Game.
Bob transitioned into the startup ecosystem with leadership roles at The New Release, Sky Mobilemedia, and ecoATM—where his strategic guidance helped raise over $200 million in capital. In 2013, his work with ecoATM culminated in a successful $350 million acquisition by Outerwall, marking one of the region’s standout exits.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of GlyTR Therapeutics, an early-stage biotech company pioneering a novel class of antibody-independent immunotherapies that target abnormal glycans across multiple cancer types.
