Dacian is a battle-tested operational leader with a diverse background and skillset. Before EvoNexus, Dacian played a critical role in several political campaigns – from City Council to Congress. He also served as a District Representative for a member of the California State Assembly, bringing community and legislation together.
Originally from the Midwest, Dacian first came to San Diego in 2016 when he stepped on the Yellow Footprints at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Dacian served on Active Duty for 5 years as a Signals Intelligence Operator/Analyst & Russian Cryptologic Linguist, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. Dacian was stationed at Camp Pendleton and culminated his enlistment as a forward deployed Team Leader in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Dacian was a Finance & Accounting student at Indiana University from 2014 to 2016, long before the Hoosiers would claim a National Title. While in the Marines, he spent a year learning Russian at the Defense Language Institute, and another year learning NSA tradecraft. Dacian recently graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of San Diego and continues to learn and grow in the startup ecosystem.
