Jeff Erle

C-Level Executive & Coach, Consultant & Strategic Advisor / Fmr. CEO & COO, MobilityWare

Jeff has held numerous COO, President and/or CEO positions during his 30+ year career. His experience spans across start-ups, small privately-held and large public enterprises including ADP, Western Digital, MFLEX, Litton Industries, MobilityWare and most recently as the COO at Blast.

Blast was a start-up that developed a mobile app at the nexus of Fintech and gaming, where gamers earn, save, invest or spend money they make while playing the games they love.

During his five year tenure at MobilityWare, a previously nascent, southern California-based, mobile-focused, digital media provider, the company grew to become one of the world’s largest publishers of casual mobile games, recognized for and a team-based, employee-centric culture, for which it won numerous awards, including earning a 4.5 star rating on GlassDoor. Revenues grew seven-fold, EBITDA grew four-fold, and the employee base grew from 30 to 185 under Jeff’s leadership.

Jeff focuses on (1) building high-performing teams and evolving award-winning cultures focusing on multi-generational workforces, (2) developing/coaching key executives, and (3) helping companies develop strategies to scale for growth and/or exit.

Jeff has experience in mobile apps, gaming, automotive, consumer electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, and retail. His b-2-b and b-2-c product and service experiences include game/app development, data pipelines & analytics, SaaS, Cloud computing, hardware manufacturing, software development, internet commerce, business intelligence, IT services and most recently AI and machine learning.

Jeff has served on a number of Boards and has advised numerous early-stage companies through his affiliations with OCTANe LaunchPad, Tech Coast Angels, ABL (a CEO roundtable) and TriTech SBDC. He has been both a judge and a mentor/coach for business plan competitions at the graduate and undergraduate levels at USC, Chapman, UCI and Pepperdine, and a mentor at numerous Start-Up Weekends.

Jeff earned a BA in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and lives in Irvine with his wife and two daughters.
