Jonathan Kohn, Ph.D., is Director of Corporate Business Development for Bio-Rad Laboratories, a Life Science and Clinical Diagnostics company founded in 1952. He focuses on M&A and strategic investment for the company, leading efforts to identify and execute on opportunities that deliver sustainably differentiated solutions to critical customer needs in both life science research and clinical diagnostics.
Jonathan has over 16 years of industry experience, having held positions in R&D and business development, and represents Bio-Rad on the board of directors of various portfolio companies. He has extensive experience in technology assessment, corporate valuation, product development, and commercialization.
Jonathan earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara before taking a post-doctoral fellowship in UC Berkeley’s department of Bioengineering.
