Vice President, Cybersecurity, Qualcomm
Kris Virtue currently leads Qualcomm’s Information Security and Risk Management organization, where he is accountable for protecting Qualcomm’s digital information assets and systems. He is a proven leader with extensive experience in all aspects of information technology for a global Fortune 500 company. Kris serves as a Board Member for Serving Seniors and a Co-Chair of the San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE).
Prior to this, Kris was a sales engineer with MTI Technology, where he gained experience with hardware RAID systems, and fibre channel SAN solutions. Before that, he was a programmer analyst for his alma mater, University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He received his Bachelors and Masters from UCSD, in Computer Science and Architecture based Enterprise Systems Engineering, respectively.
