Lew Boore
VP, WW Sales & Business Development @ Atomica Corporation
Lew brings more than thirty five years of product development, marketing, sales, business development & government relations experience in the semiconductor industry, from large-scale enterprises (HP/ Avago, M/A-COM) to eight successful start-ups, with revenue growth from zero to $300MM +.
At Atomica, Lew is responsible for the successful commercialization of products in photonics, sensor, biotechnology and MEMS, which address the telecom/ wireless, medical, automotive, aerospace & defense, automotive and commercial/ consumer markets. With a focus on rapid prototyping and scalable production, Atomica is one of the largest microfabrication and MEMS fabs in North America.
Prior to Atomica, Lew served as both the Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development, as well as SVP for Government Affairs for Menlo Micro, where his teams successfully transitioned hundreds of design-wins into revenue in the Test & Measurement, Aerospace & Defense, Communications and Power markets. As Sales VP for Silanna Semiconductor, selling the company’s specialty RF switches for the telecom sector, resulting in successful trade sale to Qualcomm. Lew also served as Vice President of Sales at Cavendish Kinetics where he helped pioneer the use of tunable capacitors as broadband antenna tuners in mobile phones. In addition, He also led the WiSpry sales team where he received the world’s first commercial orders for MEMS-based tuners.
A former combat arms officer, Lew graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in engineering and economics.
