IRVINE, CA–(Marketwired – June 26, 2015) – Kadho Inc., aspiring children’s educational game developer, appointed former California Secretary of Education and current Chairperson of the Federal Education Safe & Drug Free Schools and Community Advisory Committee Dr. David Long to its advisory board for forthcoming ventures. Dr. Long will be working closely with a diverse board of advisors including Dr. Virginia Mann, Dr. James Fallon, Susan Stephenson, and Dr. Tara Johnson, to support Kadho’s mission toward introducing a neuroscience-based curriculum into early childhood education.
Dr. Long has undoubtedly left a substantial mark in education in the past 40 years. From teaching in classrooms for 21 years to being the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools and then serving as the former President of California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA), Dr. Long has been a positive influence along the entire spectrum of California’s education system. His professional achievements serve as proof of Dr. Long’s positive influence in education. He was honored as California Administrator of the Year, Superintendent of the Year. Kadho eagerly anticipates seeking expertise in academic curriculum development from Dr. Long as the company continues to expand its boundaries and institute new methods of early childhood education.
Kadho reached out to Dr. Long after initial interaction at UC Irvine. There, Kadho’s scientific team sparked Dr. Long’s interest with their background in neuroscience and mission of introducing a fresh, novel method of education for children. In recent months, Kadho has released several games and Ebooks dedicated to language immersion, targeting the brain at its core with a specific neurofoundation curriculum. Science has shown that critical phases of early development in children’s minds occur primarily between the ages of 0 and 3. Kadho’s apps are tailored to develop the correct brain regions during appropriate time periods. With his expertise, Dr. Long will be assisting Kadho by supporting its curriculum development specifically for English teaching games in the U.S. and internationally.
“Kadho will surely benefit from Dr. Long’s extended network and expertise in expanding our reach to the educational system in USA and of course in overseas,” said Dr. Kaveh Azartash, CEO and co-founder of Kadho Inc. “I also believe that Dr. Long’s specialization in developing academic curriculum will certainly be a great asset in the culmination of Kadho’s neurofoundation curriculum.”
Founded by Dr. Kaveh Azartash and Dr. Dhonam Pemba both PhDs in Biomedical Engineering with emphasis in vision and neuroscience, and being backed by a strong network of early childhood educators, neuroscientists, linguists and child psychologists, Kadho Inc. is utilizing the last 50 years of brain science to develop games and eBooks to maintain and enhance the innate abilities that children are born with. Kadho’s apps and eBooks teach the building blocks of linguistics by exposing babies and toddlers to the key sounds from 12 languages recorded by native speakers in a customized manner that adapts to child’s learning pace. When children this young hear these sounds repetitively it unlocks a part of their brain to ready it for learning their native and other languages. For more information, visit www.kadho.com.
