MarketLink a.k.a. High-Tech Speed Dating:

Marketlink is a FREE program that pairs local companies with multinational corporations hoping to identify and license new technologies. MarketLink brings parties of mutual interest together by orchestrating an event that will offer selected companies the opportunity to present to technology executives from visiting corporations in a personalized 1-on-1 session. <more>

 

Who Nokia is:

Senior Vice President & General Manager

Larry Paulson joined Nokia in 1987. He is currently Senior Vice President & General Manager of the Nokia CDMA Business Unit and has served as President of Technophone Corporation, a Nokia owned subsidiary, President of Nokia Product Corporation, another wholly owned subsidiary and Vice President of Americas Business Development. He started in his current role in 1997. Mr. Paulson’s current responsibilities include product roadmaps, business planning, feature strategies and application activities for all Nokia CDMA products worldwide. He has served as a charter member of Nokia Americas Management Board and currently represents Nokia as a member of the CDMA Development Group Leadership Council. Mr. Paulson also represents Nokia as a Mentor Sponsor of the San Diego Telecom Council and serves on the SDTC Board. Mr. Paulson currently lives in Rancho Santa Fe with his wife Gretchen and three children.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a first come first serve basis, so apply early. There are up to 16 spots and 4 standby spots available for 45 minute presentation meetings with Nokia. Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis if accepted, with the deadline for final notification of acceptance on April 13, 2009.
